ATI Radeon 9000 Driver, need advice

I need some thorough instructions on how to get the ATI graphics drivers running under Slackware 9.1. Last time I tried it with this distro, I nuked something. What I'm saying is I want to do it right the first time this time around. I'm fairly certain I can't just run the RPM as if I was still on a Redhat system. I'll check back sometime tomorrow, need sleep now.

Thank you so much, Scruff!

I'll try that as soon as I can.
