Atheros AR5B91 not being recognized in WLAN0.

Attached below will be posted logs of lspci, lsmod, dmesg, uname and ifconfig. I can't seem to upload them so will have to do it as code.. So sorry for the long post.

I'm working on a Kali Linux in VMWare v 9. I've installed both the VMWare pre-created environment and installed clean from the ISO, which is my normal method.

I have an Atheros AR5B91 card, which it will not read as WLAN0. I've tried using both, ath5k and ath9k, which is what I've read is the correct driver configuration and it still will not display a WLAN0.

Please help!

Can't post dmesg, too long (86,933 characters, with a max of 30,000)
Can't upload either. Hopefully this is enough to help.

Thanks

You can use: http://pastebin.com/ to post your long content then post the link to that pastebin page.

I suggest that you use 'ifconfig -a' to see if the wlan device has been recognized with module & firmware. You can use from the cli 'rfkill list' to show the state.

Hope this helps.
Have fun & enjoy!
