asus kv8 pro ath64 3000 skt 754 or intel?

hi folks looking for some advice before i install slackware .v10 i have the following spare system to run it on
asus kv8 pro mobo athlon64 3000 skt754 512 mb ddr433 ram ati 9800 xt 256mbddr video card, so now you know what the hard ware is could anyone tell me if there is/are going to be any problems installing slackware v10?
the mobo uses the VIA K8T800 pro chipset is there any problems that i might expect to have with this ? any info would be most welcome
