Are BTX machines compatible with Linux?

I can't find any reason why they wouldn't be (specifically Kubuntu), but maybe there's something I don't know about? I realize that BTX is obsolete these days and it might be a little harder to find upgrades/replacement parts, but assume that's a solved problem. :-)

Sure they are. BTX isn't an architecture, it's only a motherboard form factor. In other words, most BTX motherboards are i386 or i386-compatible machines. The only thing BTX denotes is the physical size and shape of the piece of plastic that it's all glued (and/or soldered, etc) to.
