Apple Wireless Keyboard Pairing on Linux and Windows

Hi all,

I need to know whether it is possible to pair an Apple wireless (bluetooth) keyboard to a same laptop that dual boots with Windows (XP or 7) and Linux (possibly a Slackware based distro like Slax booted as a USB live) and have it paired as the user switches between these two OS'?

My question is that whether I'm required to unpair the keyboard from the Windows before rebooting it off of a Linux distro, then pair it there in order to make it working in Linux, and subsequently unpair it in Linux before rebooting from Windows (XP or 7) and pairing it there?

I know there are several articles regarding getting Apple wireless keyboard paired to a Linux distro of some sort, but I wish to know whether this keyboard has given anyone particular issues when it comes to being operational under Linux?

Thanks.
