Apple Keyboard M2452 and M7803 under Linux

I want to buy those keyboards on eBay for my home pc.

Does anybody know if Apple keyboard M2452 or M7803 can be used in Linux on x86PC. Those are Apple keyboards for G3, G4 and G5. someones said M7803 can works while M2452 does not.

I am using Fedora Core 3 (2.6.11).

Apple USB keyboards

You should have no problems using either one. I am absolutely sure that they will work if you are running Linux on a PowerPC (a Mac, for example). Being USB and being somewhat standard, you should have no problem. You might find a few key-reference inconsistencies with the Mac-specific keys, but even if the whole keyboard is jacked, you can rebind all the keys on the keyboard. Your distro should have a utility for this, actually (I know RedHat 7+ does, including FC4 today).

Give it a shot, what do you have to lose anyway? A few bucks?
