ADSL problem after installing SAMSUNG printer
I am running Kubuntu 9.04
I just installed printer SAMSUNG ML-1660 with samsung proprietary driver (and it works) but at the same time my ADSL connection stopped working.
Maybe it is just a coincidence, but it had been workink flawlessly for years... And there is nothing wrong with the hardware because I have dual boot and in windows everything is fine.
I use speedtouch 330 modem run with kernel modules. Is it possible that the printer driver messed up with the kernel module for ADSL?
Using some monitor programs I see that the modem sends packages but do not receive anything in return.
Is there any way to check if the kernel module for adsl is still working fine or to re-install them? I don't know how to start this kind of troubleshooting.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
