Question About clock and heating

Hi all!
Well, I´m still running too fast with my clock, and did not find the cause. Since I installed MDK 10 (Community and then Official), it started ticking aprox 3 times faster than normal. It happens to be no solution, but at least I want to know if this fact can in any way damage my CPU for overheating.
I have an IBM Thinkpad i1469 with an Intel Celeron processor (500MHz).
Any comment will be wellcome.
Cheers

If you are talking about your date/time clock it is not likely that it will affect your processor. They are not the same animals. Clock speed for cpu/fsb isn't the same animal as the real time clock used to keep your computer set to the correct date and time.
