Abit KV7, Suse Linux 9.0

I am at wits end with this motherboard. While not a complete linux noob, I lack the skills/know-how to fix this problem. I have searched the forums here and tryed a few different solutions..none worked. Important Stats on the Mobo are

Chipset: NB: Via KT600 SB: Via 8237
AGP: 8x

Im trying to get my ATI 9600XT to work, the drivers pick it up, and the ATI controll pannel show everything right exept says its using PCI and the MESA drivers.

So im guessing my AGP drivers are not working. As i said above ive tryed a few solutions for this but have no idea what to do at this point.

If anyone has any ideas please lemme know. Thanks =)

Wow im totaly amazed no one has had this problem. Everyone I spoke to told me to come here for help. Ive tryed Suse/Fedora/Mandrake (wouldnt write lilo to MBR)/Gentoo. None seem to give me any agp support out of the box

Google has been worthless. *Pulls whats left of his hair out*
