I can't get the RH7.2 drivers to work with RH9. I emailed Dynamode (UK) and they said they are working on the drivers and will get back to me.

Hi guys.
I'm from Portugal and we are having too much trouble about this USB modem. Yes, the same A360 one.

So, I would apreciate it very much if the first person to get those Red Hat 9 drivers could email me at tristao_w*yahoo.com

(obviously * stands for @)

I want these drivers for myself, but I know the portuguese linux community is dying for them as well. It's just that one of our major ISPs uses this modem as a standard...
So, as soon as I get them, I'll post them in my webpage and annouce it in Portugal.

Thanks everyone!

I will post them if I get them. However, I would not hold your breath!

I have had a personal e-mail giving me information relating to untested drivers for the A360 pci card:

http://www.modem-help.com/mfcs.php?mid=122&nid=3924

Apparently the A360 has the Connextant chip set.

I don't know whether they are any good or not because I have the USB modem. I guess folks can try this out at their own risk. It would be helpful if somebody could post the board to let us know whether the drivers work or not.

I sure am glad I didn't hold my breath! ;-)

Well, I guess we'll all just continue to suck...
Being online with XP is like going to war with an umbrella for protection. (one of those really lame umbrellas... the ladies' kind)

I'll just keep hopelessly looking for that driver.

Hi,

I'm also a newbie to Linux and have just installed Redhat 9. I've also got an a360 modem and was sent the RH7.2 install. It didn't work with me so was wondering what your experiences have been on this. (Dynamode told me that they didn't yet have a RH9 install...)

I got to the point where it has installed files in a couple of directories, but I what I don't get is a folder called 'Programs' and an icon called 'adsl'... am I being dim or am I missing something?
