400fsb running @ 333


This isn't really a linux question but i hope somebody here can help me...
i have a A7S8X-MX motherboard that only goes upto a 333fsb and was wondering if i could put a 400fsb cpu on it and just run it slightly underclocked for a while

Hope somebody here can help

You can run it underclocked, that would be fine.

It'll just think the CPU is a 333*clock muliplier CPU I think. Running CPUs unclocked should have no stability issues either.
