XFree86 mouse configuration

I just installed debian on my system and it went fine but the problem is I can't get into X because it says no core pointer found. I'm almost positive this has to do with my mouse, I probley chose a wrong option on accident in teh installer. Anyways I have a logitech ps/2 wheel mouse. what do I have to put in my XF86Config-4 file to get it working right?
currently I have this in my config-4 file.

Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Configured Mouse"
Driver "mouse"
Option "CorePointer"
Option "Device" "/dev/ps0"
Option "Protocol" "PS/2"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "false"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection

Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Generic Mouse"
Driver "mouse"
Option "SendCoreEvnets" "true"
Option "Device" "/dev/ps0"
Option "Protocol" "PS/2"
Option "Emulate3Butoons" "false"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection
....
...
Section "ServerLayout" ...
InputDevice "Generic Keyboard"
InputDevice "Configured Mouse"
InputDevice "Generic Mouse"
EndSection

sorry if this looks like a mess I'm in lynx right now because of no X.
Thanks for the replies

new problem

well I seem to have got the mouse working by using /dev/psaux instead of /dev/ps0
but now I'm getting a font error. (this is kde 3.0 btw)

....
PEXExtensionsInit: Couldn't open default PEX font file Roman_M
....
could not init font path element unix/:7100, removing from list!

Fatal Server Error:
Caught Signal 11. Server Aborting

I'll mess with this some more and check back on the forums. if anyone know what I'm missing it would help greatly .

kde fonts must be bad

well I figure the kde fonts didn't install right or something to that sort because I just typed gdm hope that was gnome and gnome came right up with no problems. I guess I'll be using gnome untill I can get the right fonts for kde which shouldnt be too hard.
