What's involved in having a webcam update directly to my desktop ?

I'm running debian, and using xfce windows manager.

I dont have root access either.

there is a webcam @ http://cams.aacb.com/scripts/liveimg...=60?dummy=garb

It views fine under mozilla but i would like it to update every so often right to my desktop.

Is there a way I can do this ? also Im a bigtime newbie.
