Unhappy VMWare from Inside Windoze????

How does one get VMWare to work inside Windoze to
access Linux? Which Version do I use? I have VMWare
working GREAT from inside Linux to Windoze, but a friend
of mine wants to know how-to do it the opposite way, and
I had NO Idea what to tell him???

Any ideas, info, etc., would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks in Advance

Goto http://www.vmware.com and download an eval copy and follow the instructions. It's pretty easy.

I have setup the following:
VMware WS 3.2 on win2k host os.
Redhat 7.3 as guest OS.

It was easy. Just follow the instructions in their pdf. However, you might want to either add or increase the size of the vuirtual disk prior to starting. 4 gig is not much.

However there are two issues. One, we have numerous linux boxes in the office. WE use amd to NFS on demand data disks from one computer to another including some NASes. I continually get a I/O error when trying to mount another linux boxes drive.

The other problem is NVidia. I have an NVIDIA card in the PC. However, VMware installs its own SVGA driver to "optimize" video performance. WE have some applications that use nvidia and glx that I can't seem to run and I don't want to muck up the VMware video. They have no docs on this either.

P.S. I tried to post these questions in their own thread. But I can't see how to create a new thread here. Any ideas?
