Question Video Card Driver and 3dfx Accelarator.

Hi all. I downloaded the Nvidia drivers from their website.
On their instruccions they suggested I installed the rpms and then to edit the XF86Config file...which I did and I renamed the driver and the accelerator name to the name they specified for their drivers.
Well, i rebooted and I tried pulling out a game that ran very, very, very, very slowly before. But now tha tI try to run it, this message appears on the xterm:
"randomizing.
SDL initialized.
X Error of failed requests: BadAlloc (Insufficient resources for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 143 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 3 (X_GLXCreateContext)
Serial number of failed request: 16
Current serial number in output stream: 17"

And then the game stops loading. Does anyone know what I did wrong? or what I failed to do at all?
Thanks for help.

Download and run nv_check.sh, remove any conflicting libs that it detects.
