there will be no usb driver for it, it will work fine based on what you have already got installed. as long as you have the usb-storage module loaded, then I'd confident that just plugging it in would recognise it as a scsi drive, creating /dev/sda and the partition devices, /dev/sda1, sda2 etc...
I assume you mean RHEL3, not acutally redhat 3.0. if this really is redhat 3, from like 1994, then you may as well give up now.
