Tux server and RAID partition
Hi,
We are using Tux content accelerator. It is advised that Tux should serve the files from a software or hardware RAID partition. I have a programming background and dont know much on the system side. How can I find whether we have RAID partitions and what kind of RAID it is, whether it is RAID0, RAID1 etc. We are hosting a high traffic website on Linux. On doing a df, it prints the following info. We have 2 SCSI hard disks.
dev/sda7 1035660 241696 741356 25% /
/dev/sdb1 70557052 32828 66940128 1% /backup
/dev/sda1 46636 25594 18634 58% /boot
/dev/sda5 48885484 539396 45862844 2% /home
none 1547352 0 1547352 0% /dev/shm
/dev/sda6 1035660 49196 933856 6% /tmp
/dev/sda2 10317860 2967172 6826568 31% /usr
/dev/sda3 7224600 209600 6647916 4% /var
Also are there any tuning guidelines for Tux server?
Thanks a lot for your help.
