Trash messed up

some time ago i managed to mess up mu Trash folder on my desktop. i probably did some nasty overwriting and this is the result:

there used to be Trash icon on my desktop. the icon on the image still leads to the trash folder and it acts as a trashcan. but the problem is (as you can see) it is labelled as Documents and has the icon to match that...
simple point&click->properties doesnt let me change that. what should i do?

using suse9.1

oh. i got it.

answer for others who might have the similar problem: changing the values in $HOME/desktop/Trash/.directory

it should be (translations removed):

[Desktop Entry]
Type=Directory
Icon=trashcan_full
EmptyIcon=trashcan_empty
Name=Trash
Comment=Contains removed files
