I know every site can do with a bit of advertising to earn more profit, but theres been an advert for M$ winblows server on here for ages - do you think the folks behind linuxquestions are having a laugh?
(i think its funny lol)
oh yeah, adhearing to the following rule.....
"5. And again, if it has the word Microsoft or Windows in your thread and it's not a question regarding Linux in any way, most likely it belongs in General."
And as far as I'm aware, the adverts are automatically produced by Google and possibly another service. I don't think that anyone from LQ controls which adverts are displayed (feel free to flame me if I'm wrong ).
First of all, search. The Microsoft ads that slip thru and display thru the ad management on this site has been discussed a gazillion times already. Your bringing up nothing new.
Secondly, you should read our rules and not mock them. This thread closed, please place threads in the most appropiate forum. Make this your first and last warning please, or you can lose privileges to this site.
Thirdly, we really don't care what you think of Micrsoft, if its a joke or not but leave such bashings to yourself. We wouldn't want any other business or site telling us that LQ.org is a joke..
