terminal windows open at startup

Hey all,
At an enexpected power loss on my laptop, everytime i now reboot my machine, the terminal windows that were open before the power loss now open every time i turn my machine on.

I check both the .bashrc and .bash_profile files, did not see anything.
I am running Fedora Core 3.

I would like to stop the terminal windows from opening. Thank you

saved state

This probably has something to do with a saved state; (are you using KDE? Gnome could probably do the same) If it's not set up to save its state every time you log off, it probably preserved the state it had when the power cut out, and since it's not saving on every exit, it still has that state saved, and thus brings it up whenever KDE (or whatever) starts.

Off the top of my head I don't know where the setting is, so email my username at yahoo if you can't find it.
