sound is acting wierd...


okay, i got the music to work, mp3s work... but, theres one problem; the freaking sound is fast... its not fast enough so that everyone sounds like chipmunks, but its just a little bit faster then its suppose to be..


got any ideas?

Be more precise. What window manager (WM) are u using?
U can change sample rate using alsamixer. But all sound servers must be own in order to do so. (ex.: killall artsd if using kde).

yea im using kde,

theres no much more specific then that,

i have a k7 triton nForce 2 mobo w/ integrated sound.

i will try that first and see what i get
