Sound Card Help!!

I am running suse 9.1 personal with a sound blaster live sound card. When I go to yast2 to configure the sound card it gives me this message

Code:
The kernal module snd-emu10k1 for sound support could not be loaded. This can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IQ or IRQ parameters
I have no idea what this means!!! Please help me get my sound card working.

Sounds like you either need too install the drivers as a module or if it is available for your kerenel, compile it in. The driver you need is emu10k1 as it stated. Go to the distro website or sourceforge and download and install the drivers. If you use the module, make sure you set it up to load when you reboot.

I'm not real good on Redhat type stuff, never used it, but that should help get you off to a start. Maybe a Redhat guru will come along. I have the same card, it will work. It actually works very well I might add.
