Hey guys.. I know it sucks that I'm actually in need of a window app... There is this program at school called microsoft Visio.. And this program is to set up office layouts, network layouts, and many other things... What I would like to know if there is something similar to this app for Linux.. It sucks that I have to go to school just to use that app.. Since I do not have windows anymore, and I need to do my final paper for my Networking class... Thanks for any help!!!!.. I really need this...
Visio is designed for a broad range of business and technical professionals. Diagramming solutions use industry- and task-specific templates so that you can work comfortably within your area of expertise. Because of the familiar Microsoft Office interface and precision drawing tools, Visio is easy to learn. Your focus is on your work, not how to present it.
KOffice includes Kivio, which is specifically designed to be a Visio workalike/replacement. You probably have KOffice installed if you have KDE installed.
Thanks!!! I'm using Kvio right now.. Only thing I need to read the man page, in the windows version you could just drag and drop.. I'll see if this program has an option like that...
