serviceconf error

Hello all,
I am rather new to the linux os and am having difficulties using my serviceconf. I've read several posts that indicate others have had the same problems. Those post said that upgrading the rpm would do the trick. I did that yet I still recieve the errors (ValueError: invalid literal for int(): 4n)etc.
any suggestions?
by the way im using redhat 7.2.
thanx in advance
