howto enable rsh daemon without serviceconf?

I have a cluster setup which requires rsh and redhat 7.2
to work...ssh into a node works but not rsh?

Im not able to enable the rshdaemon using service configurator..The GUI never opens and it gives an error at line 22, cannot import gtk.

Is there any other means to enable the rsh daemon?

Thanks in advance,

/sbin/chkconfig --level 345 rsh on, or whatever level you need it set to on for.
