Guys, do you know the command to start/stop/reset the sandmail (using redhat 6.1)
Where can I find these commnads about sandmail?
Or you can recommend me another mail server program cause
sandmail sucks.I can't even send 50 mails at a time it stops by itself.
Thanks.
How are you liking Sendmail? I like it myself, but I fine that it is very tricky to configure. I try to use linuxconf, with Mandrake 8.0, and it screws up my sendmail.cf file every time. I am going to try to learn to configure Virtual Accounts with Sendmail, rather than linuxconf, which is what I am used to. Also, Webmin is a life saver!

Yes, I have looked at that site and they refer to that book, which I plan to buy here shortly. That is what I will be learning. If you know ANYONE who knows anything about Sendmail, let me know.

Qmail!
I heard couple of times that Qmail is much better program than sandmail even the best one for linux.
Maybe I can switch to qmail instead of damn sandmail.
What do you guys think?
I have heard the same about Qmail. The only major con may be that it can't handle as much of a work load. If you're only running several hundred users Qmail is probably fine.
