Question screenshot?

I feel like such an idiot.. I've been using linux for quite a while now, and I don't know how to take a screenshot! I've tried Prt Scr, Shift + Prt Scr, but when I go into The Gimp and do Paste, it doesn't paste my desktop.. what am I doing wrong?!

Did I mention that I feel like a idiot??

A webcam shot of your desktop is a valid screenshot as well. But, don't expect the resolution to be all that great. :-D

Ow Yeah!

But I don't use KDE, because I have a Celeron 400

In the Gnome >= 2.x you can type:

$ gnome-panel-screenshot

Brazilian Regards, sorry by english
