Removing 2.4 kernel modules

After a lot of hassle trying to install first a Sagem F@ST 800 E2T usb adsl modem, and then an Alcatel/Thompson Speedtouch 330 (silver) one, I've got a lot of config files over my install and want to start from scratch. I now need to know how to properly remove two modules from my custom 2.4.22-36mdk install. The drivers are called adiusbadsl and speedtch.

I've seen references in a bunch of files, but want to know which to simply delete, and which require proper commands to cleanly uninstall them from the system.
