Remote Desktop via Vino in Gnome

I have used XDCMP in the past to remotely login to a linux box, usually KDE. Just installed a Fedora 5 machine with Gnome, but it's a generic question.

Gnome comes with Vino that allows remote destkop, the only way I can get this working though is to actually require a local login and I can then "Take Over" the destkop, I'm looking at a XDCMP solution permitting remote logins without a local login.

Is Vino an option still or should I go back to a "standard" XDCMP solution?

Cheers
