Raw Hide

Ok, before i get tons of hate mail, please note i put this in the general section, cause i wasn't sure if it fit into Fedora or Redhat forum. Ok, here i my question: Is Rawhide the new version of RHL, and will it be the last major edition for a while (i've heard there is a new version comming out on wedensday)?

Severn is the latest Fedora version

Shrike is the latest Redhat version

Rawhide is where updates are.

FYI, rawhide != redhat updates. rawhide is the unstable tree of software that redhat works on, very very *unstable*

fedora core is supposed to be released yesterday but has been held back, hopefully only a few days.

there are later versions of fedora core than severn, IIRC, i could be wrong on this one.

looks like it's severn for now.

It's a beta, which means it's considered unstable. The updates for fedora come from Rawhide. You could also setup an account and use up2date.
