I don't know if this is a right place for this question but Im gonna go ahead and ask it....
Raid can fail if 2 or more dirivers crash in short interval, if the probability of crashing a drive is 'P' what is the probability of k-drive Raid failing in a given hour?
if you are looking for an actual number for P, the best way would be to start a thread with a poll. but since it would be an internet poll, the number you get wont be accurate because it wont be a randon sample.
FWIW, i have a proxy server and printer server run 24/7 for 5 years and the drives are still good.
