Hello, I am new to Linux and Debian, currently running Squeeze 6.0 for about a few days now and I have been trying to use unetbootin to create a bootable usb with windows 7 by following this guide
http://www.linuxandlife.com/2012/12/une ... ows-7.html
I am having problems running the older version of unetbootin after making it executable it simply wont open by double clicking after being made executable i went into terminal and used
Code:
root@debian:/home/m# cd /home/m/Downloads/
root@debian:/home/m/Downloads# sudo chmod +x unetbootin-linux-494
root@debian:/home/m/Downloads# ./unetbootin-linux-494
./unetbootin-linux-494: error while loading shared libraries: libgthread-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I used ls -l returning the output
Code:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 m m 4320172 Feb 7 22:12 unetbootin-linux-494
which means that permissions are read and write and also executable right?
Do i need to call libgthread-2.0, is it an important shared library, or is there a better way of running an executable?
If what I am doing is wrong please correct me.
