problem loading a module

Hi... i Have the following problem...
I try to load the squashfs module but insmod gives me the following error

squashfs: vesrion magic '2.6.11.6 preempt PENTIUMIII 4KSTACKS gcc-3.3 should be '2.6.11.6 SMP preempt PENTIUM4 4KSTACKS gcc-3.3'
insmod: cannot insert 'squashfs.ko': Invalid module fomat (-1): Exec format error

I think that the problem should at the kernel compilation i have made.. because i must have selected wrong processor family. What should i do?
Thx

You are right, for me the message is self explanatory, that module is compiled for a different kernel. In fact, your running kernel has SMP, and the module not. Just recompile your kernel and modules without SMP, because you do not have two micros on board. do you?

Thx i ll try it later... But give me more explanations.. My processor is a Celeron 550 Mhz. I want to know what i should select at the menuconfig. I ask this because i thing that configuration procedure selects the processor that my pc has. Is this correct or not?
