Hello,
I am looking for some help in the following scenario, and to understand if it is achievable.
We have two domains – mydomain.us (defined on an exchange server in US) and mydomain.com (defined internally in Singapore)
When user
userA@mydomain.us sends out an email it is masked to reflect
userA@mydomain.com.
There is no issue for the recipients (external party) to receive the email.
When the external party replies to this email, since mydomain.com is hosted in SG, email reaches SG, which redirects the email using Postfix Address Rewriting to
userA@mydomain.us - which works fine as well.
Issue:
When external party sends an email to
userA@mydomain.com
and to two more recipients (userB@mydomain.com and
userC@mydomain.com),
the email reaches all the 3 recipients:
userA - has no issue - all the addresses are reflected correctly i.e.
userA@mydomain.us (due to address rewrite rule),
userB@mydomain.com and
userC@mydomain.com.
In the same way, userA's email address is reflected as
userA@mydomain.us in other recipients' mailboxes.
Is there a way to reflect
userA@mydomain.us as
userA@mydomain.com in other recipient's mailboxes?
Regards.
