I have tried with root/pass , and several other passwords after i configure my webmail client but there is the same error everytime in every webmail client I install on the machine!!!.... Maybe you could explain what you are trying to do, like what do you want the end result to be? Check your emails via a webmail interface? If so, are you hosting the email server, is it your ISP email or Gmail or something else?

Red face

yes I want to create accounts and check my emails through the webmail interface..
The E-mail server is hosted on my own Box.,i do have IPs and Domains..thats now the problem...the problem is that i somehow can't connect to the mail server (pop3) though the webmail client..
I do the conf file.. port,ip..etc. everything..and I set u users too..
but when i try to connect (login) with them from the webmail it says for example from Uebimiau:

.: Login error :.

You cannot login with the username and password entered.

Please check your username and password and try again.

-ERR Authentication failed (bad password?)

> Back <

same error that i receive when i try to login to the pop3 from console.!
