Thank Robbie Workman, not I.

I looked into hosting rute, when it started hiccup'ing but the author came of a little "needy" or sounded desperate.
Anyway, I got the idea I shouldn't.

Enjoy the Goodness!

I tried this like this

Code:
(userx@slacko/~)>>$ mkdir /opt/example
mkdir: cannot create directory ‘/opt/example’: Permission denied

(userx@slacko/~)>>$ sudo mkdir /opt/example
(userx@slacko/~)>>$ sudo chmod -R 777 /opt/example
(userx@slacko/~)>>$ ls
images.idb w
installedSBo wireless-info
xbpx-install-to-usb-stick logout

#HERE is root permissions needed user trying to copy file to /opt

(userx@slacko/~)>>$ cp xbpx-install-to-usb-stick /opt
cp: cannot create regular file '/opt/xbpx-install-to-usb-stick': Permission denied

#here where dir was changed to 777 user copying file to that dir /opt/example

(userx@slacko/~)>>$ cp xbpx-install-to-usb-stick /opt/example

(userx@slacko/~)>>$ ls -la /opt/example
total 12
drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 4096 Jan 26 16:15 .
drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 4096 Jan 26 16:15 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 userx userx 447 Jan 26 16:15 xbpx-install-to-usb-stick
(userx@slacko/~)>>$
you actully by MO should not be having problems.

this way too is ok, then like suggested path to it added to bashrc

Code:
(userx@slacko/opt)>>$ sudo chown userx:users example
(userx@slacko/opt)>>$ ls -la
total 20
drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 4096 Jan 26 16:30 .
drwxr-xr-x 22 root root 4096 Jan 24 17:45 ..
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Oct 6 08:52 dropbox
drwxr-xr-x 2 userx users 4096 Jan 26 16:30 example
drwxr-xr-x 6 root root 4096 Oct 16 14:05 libreoffice5.2
as you should see by the others their is more than one way to skin a cat.
