MS Word 2003 support swx file

is there any plugins or patches of anything i can do to MS Word to support openoffice (*.swx) file?
i would like to open swx file in msword 2003 because openoffce dosent save *.doc file in the exact form as i type in openoffice.

i notice that when i save document in openoffice 1.0.2 as *.doc file the number bullet dosent appear and it dosent save indentation information into *.doc file.

is there anyway that office word can support swx file?

Probably not - Open Office is not really catered for by Word and, in line with other Office products, Word doesn't support other file formats (unless they already existed, like WordPerfect or Lotus).

It looks as though you will have to resign yourself to reformatting your documents when you switch between. I haven't tried this, but does it work if you save your initial blank document as a .doc in OpenOffice, then type it up and then (after saving it) move it to Office?

currently i notice indentaion and bullet arent supported by openoffice as doc file.

will openoffice 1.1 support xml format like word 2003?
or will openoffice future version and i read before about version 2.0 will support xml tag format as word 2003?
when openoffce 2.0 will be release i dont get to find the relase schedule for version 2.0.?

if it does that it will make my life easier handling large documents

From OpenOffice.org 1.1 Features

Quote:
The default file format in OpenOffice.org is an open XML file format defined in a 500-page specification document. Every OpenOffice.org file is a ZIP archive containing separate XML files for the content, styles, settings and meta data. OASIS is using the OpenOffice.org file format as the basis for the creation of a industry wide standard for an open office document file format. For ordinary end users this means that the content of documents can still be accessed and used even if OpenOffice.org would go away.
Quote:
The new XML file filter tool makes it easy to integrate new import or export file filters that are based on XSL transformations. A popular use case for the XML filter tool is the support for the new Microsoft Office 2003 XML file formats.
