mouse wheel not working with kernel update...
ive got a ps/2 mouse from ibm, a wireless one. it has worked fine at all others, except that some live-cds dont pick it up. anyway, its was working finr on my current system (onebase 2004-r2). then i updated to kde 3.2.2, and kernel 2.6.4. not it wont work. i can use it in mozilla and such to open links, as the third mouse button i guess, but the wheel wont scroll. is this a know bug, or am i doing something wrong?
Hi I don't know if this will help you, but it may.
I had a similar problem when I installed MDK10, I had selected a 3 button ps2 wheel mouse at install, but it kept doing stupid things(like scrolling to the right, not up/down) and it was annoying. I eventually went into the MCC and config area, found the mouse section and it was only selected as a 2 button usb??? I changed it to the correct one, did the tests again(I had tested at install and it ws fine) and lo, it works fine now and has doe so for over a week.
