mounting audio cdrom

i am trying to mount an audio cd (yes, i still buy music), but i get this error:

# mount /mnt/cdrom
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/cdrom,
or too many mounted file systems

any suggestions? thanks...

You don't mount audio cdroms.

To play them just put it in the drive and open up your favorite cd playing program and press play
