mailx - viewing most recent

How can I view the most recent messages at the top of the list?

I only have 'mail/mailx' on this system and cannot install any additional programs.
I have about 2,000 messages and need to know when the most recent one was sent.
I know to use 'z' to page down when I am viewing my mail headers. But there must be an easier way than paging all the way down to the bottom. I didn't see anything in the man pages or online.

thx,
tbg
