I cant get it to work, it doesnt boot up all the way, i get some error liek debian something, ill check tom. but has anyone else got it to work, or had any problems?

I tried the Linux for the dreamcast out probably a year ago when it came out. It worked fine for me, I was able to browse the web (have the broad band adaptor) and whatnot

to be honest, it sucks, and even with the VGA converted I never got X in anything besides 640x480 which is way too small. I also didn't like how they did the /etc directory, linking just about every file in there to the cdrom, and therefor wasting quite a few inodes, which are important on the Dreamcast because there's not space in that inital ram disk....


I didn't have to do anything special to get it working.

isnt it hard to port stuff liek that like
linux --> dreamcast
linux ---> xbox

Yeah, it's almost impossible to run Linux on a DC. Those who have done it give wordy instructions. I'm waiting for an ISO that I can just burn on a CD and start using it right away.
