I have 2 os in my computer, windows xp and red hat 9, i am currently using grub, i was just wonderin' which is better, grub or lilo? and whats the difference?
i've been converted to grub recently, it's a little more complex to configure when you first start, but it's much more advanced, and makes a lot more sense and is much easier to use when dealing with dual boot systems. It's also a lot lot easier to make your own boot screens and also a lot easier to get into your system if it goes wrong.
lilo is fine too really, nothing it can't do at a normal level, so it won;'t really affect anythign which ever you use, but grub does have an edge, IF you do actually need an egde, which most people won't.
