While in linux or a compatible machine, I've SSH'd into a remote machine and executed a remote program that showed up on my screen. I thought this was called "tunneling"? Anyway, is there a method to tunnel a graphical linux program onto a windows system?
Yes you can do that, you need an X server for Windows though. Examples are Hummingbird Exceed (you have to pay for that) and I think you can use Cygwin/X, which is free.
