Kmail

Does anyone know how to set up Kmail?or any good lins other than the manual?

I am having the hardest time for some reason...What info do you need from your ISP cable provider....That is who I use as email....

What do you put in the host option....i put my host name that i use to connect to the ISP....

Is there an option to specific incoming and outgoing mail....?

Thanks

Toolshed,

I just set up Kmail the other day. What you need from your ISP is the mail servers name that you connect to. You will need to put this in the incomming mail. This is the POP3 section. in the SMTP section you will also have specifiy the mail server. My ISP the servers are the same name. Yours might be different. I just looked on my Outlook Express on my windows machine to get all this info.

Change name, mine was root, to what you want people to see or you want them to know you as.

Put in your user name
Put in your password.

This is all from memory and I hope it is accurate, i to am not at a linux box
