kmail

I have a fresh rh7.2 install. before I tore down my old system, I backed up evertying to CD-R. now, when I start kmail, with my /home directory restored from CD-R, I expected my configurations, folders, etc. to be as they were when i left my old system. not the case :-(.

everything is in ~/Mail and ~/.kde/ just like it was on my old system, but when I start kmail, it has my folders, but they are empty, and my mailbox config is empty.

do I need to change permissions perhaps??

fixed

it was a permissions issue. I added a new user to my system, started kmail as them, and copied the permissions to my ~/Mail. all works ;-)
