I downloaded the new test kernel from kernel.org, uncompressed it, did make mrproper, then when I tryed make xconfig I get an error saying that some file is missing. Has anyone else had this problem and how did they fix it?

QT is a widely used library for programming graphical user interfaces. It is used by all of the KDE applications in particular.
You probably already have the library itself installed but you need the development files (headers mainly). I believe the paclage name for the RedHat RPM you need to install is qt-devel.
