KDE problem

HI

I have this KDE problem which is really pissing me off
It happens in both KDE 3.2 and KDE 3.3 on Slackware 10.0

The Konqueror an Home button on the KDE bar they don't work at times
Their Application command path is set to

kfmclient openProfile webbrowsing (konqueror)

kfmclient openProfile filemanagement (HOME)

and when I change these too

konqueror

konqueror /Home/username

They have the same effect, and they work, but when I startup the computer next time , the command paths are reset again. Sometimes these button work without changing the path, but mostly they dont I think it is something with slackwarr 10.0, because it happens in both KDE 3.2.3 and KDE 3.3

Somethings gone wrong with you application shortcuts I think. I would suggest you move your ~/.kde directory and start with a fresh KDE. Then carfeully overwrite any configs that you can't be bothered setting up again.

Wait a minute
I've started my 'fresh KDE' a couple of times, In two time KDE 3.2.3, and two time KDE 3.3

It always happens, even a brand new installation slackware 10.0.

a brand new installation will not fix this kind of problem if you keep your kde configureation files in your home directory.
