Hello everyone. Does anyone know how to combine .jpg files and save them as an .avi? I read somewhere once where you could do this under linux easy but don't remember where I saw it. Thanks for the help.
i will check the gimp again. maybe i missed it. yep, .avi is a video format. under micro$oft i use imagen to make my avi's from .jpg's.
i know that if it can be done under micro$oft then i can do it under linux. i just need to find the right commands or program. thanks, for the help. i will keep searching until i find out how it is done.
Ok, thanks Isajera. But, you where right. I just checked theGimp again and found it has a save as AVI and also a Video option. just need to do some reading and see how to use it. But, I will also checkout the mkavi. Always did like having more than one way to do something. Thanks again.
this mkavi thing is something I found that seems like a good idea if it works, because it is supposed to not take up to much resources and is a simple command line thing. runs without a gui with simple input / output file
