I have a kernel without SMP enabled but with my Mylex SCSI RAID controller working. I need SMP so I took the same kernel (with the same .config) and enabled SMP and it freezes while loading the Mylex driver. It gives the banner then just STOPS. Tried compiling from scratch with 2.4.22, 2.4.24, 2.4.25, and 2.6.3 and I have the same problem. Any ideas?

Issues compiling with Mylex SCSI RAID and SMP :(
Tried compiling from scratch with 2.4.22, 2.4.24, 2.4.25, and 2.6.3 and I have the same problem. Any ideas?
