ISA Kingston Network card and network installs
I am wanting to set up Linux on a Piii 600 mHz machine. It has a 5 Gig HD, an old IOMEGA cdrom drive, and a couple of other things. (I intend to run it headless, so the other things are not a big deal.)
It also has a Kingston KNE20 ISA ethernet card.
I would like to do a network install of Debian. (If there is another distro that does network install besides Debian and redhat, let me know.)
The install CD that you can DL for debian asks for an IO address for the Kingston IO card, but I am at a loss about how I can figure this out.
I suppose I could grab someone's rescue CD that had isapnp tools installed and do a pnpprobe, but is there a less roundabout way?
Thanks!
